EIB High Level Meeting
Diesen Termin in meinem Kalender speichernFinancing the transition to net zero
The EU’s ambitious climate policy goals require a significant transformation of our modes of production: emission-free energy sources, clean transportation systems and new green technologies. These changes call for substantial investments which have to be funded by the financial sector. Already today, an overwhelming majority of Austrian firms is investing to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and to minimize its waste, as the EIB finds in its Investment Survey. Our conference will take stock of the climate-related risks and opportunities for firms and the necessary financing needs for green investments. A high-level panel of eminent experts in the field will discuss the implications of such broad transformation, in terms of policy measures and their effects on the competitiveness of the EU and the Austrian economy.
