Granular credit data
Credit and financial institutions are required to report granular credit data and credit risk data to the OeNB under Article 75 Austrian Banking Act. The requirement to report granular credit data took effect with the September 2018 reporting date. The new reports have replaced the central credit register reports (under Article 75 Banking Act) and AnaCredit reports (under the Regulation (EU) 2016/867 of the European Central Bank of 18 May 2016 on the collection of granular data and credit risk data).
Granular credit data have to be submitted on a monthly and on a quarterly basis by credit institutions and financial institutions as defined in the Capital Requirements Regulation. The reports are designed to meet the needs of the credit sector, the ECB and the OeNB for credit risk-related information.
