Description
Direct investments (FDI) are cross-border investments in companies in which the investor holds more than 10% of the voting capital. Above this threshold, it is assumed that the investor has a lasting, strategic involvement in the company. This data set focuses on the development of Austrian direct investment abroad.

Investments of Austrian shareholders in companies, banks or other legal entities abroad.
