Credit transfer forms

In Austria, a new paper-based credit transfer form (known as “Zahlungsanweisung”), fully replace all other forms used in Austria for domestic and cross-border credit transfers (Zahlschein, Erlagschein and the EU standard transfer) by the end of July 2014. The new credit transfer form may be used for domestic transfers and for cross-border credit transfers to European countries that are part of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

Since February 1, 2016, customers are no longer obliged to state the BIC for cross-border payment transactions in Euro within the European Economic Area.
