Description
Direct investments (FDI) are cross-border investments in companies in which the investor holds more than 10% of the voting capital. Above this threshold, it is assumed that the investor has a lasting, strategic involvement in the company. This data set focuses on the development of foreign direct investment in Austria.

Investments by foreign shareholders in companies, banks or other legal entities in Austria.
