At the multilateral level, the OeNB closely cooperates with the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI). The OeNB has been involved with the JVI from the latter’s very beginning in 1992. Since 2003 the OeNB has been a Primary Member of the JVI, along with the IMF and the Austrian Ministry of Finance. As a Consequence, the OeNB substantially increased its financial contributions to the JVI, e.g. acting as a co-sponsor of the JVI’s new training facility in Vienna.
The JVI’s course schedule for the months ahead offers a number of OeNB seminars for central bankers.
