Banking Analysis and Inspections
The OeNB’s bank analysis and inspection activities primarily focus on two areas: on-site bank inspections and individual bank analyses. On the basis of supervisory reporting data, the OeNB regularly assesses the risk levels of individual banks and reviews their compliance with legal regulations. The on-site bank inspections conducted by the OeNB are commissioned by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).
